I’m Lindsey and that’s Al by my side! I created Everyday Originals as a place where you’ll find fun, creative ways to reuse items in your everyday life to decorate and furnish your living space. I love thrifting and I love creating.

Over the past four years this blog baby of mine has morphed into so much more than just reusing and repurposing. You’ll find posts on a wide variety of topics including: health and fitness, cooking, frugal living, organizing, green living, party planning, style, life and some serious stuff too. But you’ll still find your fair share of diy projects, upcycled furniture and making a house a home on a budget.

For those of you who know me you know that I am all over the place all the time with 10 million old and new thoughts running through my head at once. My famous line is “I can make that” and not a day goes by when I’m not thinking of creating, crafting, building or diying something. I’m hoping to share some insight with you, get your creative juices flowing and encourage you to try something new.

My husband is my right hand man who helps me with pretty much every project, photo-op, blog post, technological problem and everything else. He’s the best and loves EO as much as I do. He might not be on here writing but he’s usually just as much involved in projects as I am.

In mid-2012 we decided to move clear across the country and build a life for ourselves in sunny Colorado  It’s been quite the adventure and one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We came to the realization that we weren’t getting any younger and if we’re going to do it then the time is now!

I’m thrilled that you’ve found us and I encourage you to sit back and take a peek through the archives and search through the categories. There’s a plethora of information on this little site and I’m sure you’ll benefit from one part or another. Reach out with any questions, comments or suggestions you might have.
